Job Description

In this role, you’ll provide individual and group supervision to 8-10 clinicians, and help manage client risks and crises. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality care while collaborating with leadership and fostering a strong, supportive, psychodynamically and somatically oriented team. We’re seeking someone deeply committed to social justice and equity in mental health, who practices cultural humility, gender- and neuro-affirming care, and is dedicated to continuous learning and growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly individual clinical supervision for 8-10 clinicians
  • Lead weekly group supervision sessions for clinical staff
  • Assess and support clinicians in managing client risk, crises, and emergencies
  • Maintain accurate supervision notes and other required documentation
  • Participate in weekly individual supervision for your personal caseload and regular supervisor supervision meetings for ongoing support and professional development
  • Assist in interviewing and evaluating potential hires as assigned by leadership

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 8-10 clients per week
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using various approaches
  • Conduct initial mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychotherapy
  • Address mental health risks, crises, and emergencies as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work
  • Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the state of NY
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct clinical experience post masters in clinical social work
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience and training and/or mentorship of less experienced clinicians (e.g. interns or newly licensed clinicians)
